Heidi's Salsa is sourced and made in Southern California using all natural ingredients. Fresh lemon and lime juice act as natural preservatives while naturally sweet tomatoes, Hatch green chiles and real vegetables replace sugar or chemical additives to create what has been called the "Freshest Tasting Salsa in a Jar." We hope to inspire households to replace sugary, unnatural marinades and other sauce ingredients with our clean, flavor packed, multi-use cooking staple.
Home Grown by Heidi and Nikki
Heidi and Nikki grew up in Los Angeles and formed a friendship while studying abroad in 2002. Fueled by a passion for feeding others, we formed Luko Foods in 2011 and began selling homemade salsa and jams at a local farmers’ market. Our mission is to impact the food industry and contribute to greater causes beyond the jar.
Heidi grew up surrounded by a strong Mexican culture. In the Rivera family, there were endless parties and lots of food. Heidi’s madre taught her the family salsa recipe and, with a few tweaks, it has become Heidi’s signature chunky, bright and flavor-packed salsa!
